This is the first time I've ever gotten burned while walking down the street.

I went out grocery shopping and bought some bread as I was coming out.

The awning above the shop? That sunshade roof.

As it swayed in the wind, the rainwater that had pooled on top slid down with a splash.

But it fell right on my shoulder.

Maybe because the weather was so hot today, the water got heated up really hot; it was so hot that I was shocked.

I screamed and brushed off my clothes, and now my shoulder is bright red.

Should I say it's a relief that it didn't fall on my face?

I came home quickly, applied a cold compress, and put Vaseline on it.

I can't believe I got burned by hot rainwater while walking down the street;;;
