Philips SatinIce Epilator (2004 model)

Fortunately, I don't have any hair in my underarms, so I don't need to shave, but I've had a lot of hair on my arms and legs since I was young.

I even used to wear only long sleeves and long pants during my adolescence.

But back when home shopping first started in college, haha, this product

I bought it on a home shopping channel for quite a high price.

But I've been using it for over 20 years now lol

Originally, the ice pack could be attached to the back, but since I tend to tolerate pain well, I didn't use it from the beginning, so I don't know where it is now.

Since it's an old model, the 220V plug is really heavy and thick.

The head part is detachable, so it's really convenient and great that you can wash it.

Insert the head and lift the button up to work. It's super simple.

 

I looked it up online and found a 2004 Dong-A Ilbo article lol. I thought there wouldn't be any information available since it's so old, so it was fascinating.

 

 

Every product has pros and cons, but the advantage of this product is hair removal.

It definitely works.

Since it plucks the hair rather than shaves it, my arms and legs are smooth after use, and new hair doesn't grow back easily. Now, even if I use it about once every two months, I hardly have any hair left.

 

The downside is that it's super loud lol. I absolutely never do it when my husband is around.

It's about the same noise level as a lawnmower, so I do it when I'm alone.

It has been four years since I got married, but my husband still doesn't know that product exists and thinks I am a woman with no body hair.
