Isn't wearing a face mask too much of a hassle?

I find masks that require post-treatment, like wash-off masks or modeling masks, especially so bothersome. It's a hassle just to apply them. I remember back when the Lush Shrek mask was trending; I bought it, couldn't bring myself to use it because it was too much of a hassle, and ended up throwing it away with a heavy heart after it expired. Do you all use masks often? With sheet masks, you can at least peel them off and throw them away, and with sleeping masks, you just apply them and go to sleep. But modeling masks and wash-off masks are so annoying that it looks like I'll end up throwing them all away. Hahaha, I'm seriously going to die from the hassle! I really admire people who use DIY devices like galvanic or gua sha tools. I want to become more diligent.
