First of all, it is a scalp cooling shampoo.

It's cool to some extent, but it's not super refreshing like in the commercials.

Should I call it a cooling sensation that isn't excessive?

It lathers up nicely and fluffy.

It is a shampoo with an attractive, subtle scent that lingers even after washing.
