Shampoo bars and treatment bars

I looked into using shampoo bars to help protect the environment, and I found that there are quite a lot of different types of shampoo and treatment bars.

I can't quite figure out which one to use.

I've noticed that people usually use Dove, so I'm curious to know what it's like.
