My middle school daughter has had atopic dermatitis since she was young, so she has severe psoriasis all over her skin. When it gets really bad, it improves a bit if we go to the hospital for treatment, but it’s only temporary.
This child particularly dislikes anything even slightly sticky, so they absolutely refuse to apply things like lotion or cream. When they were younger, it was okay because I forced them to apply it, but now that they are older, I absolutely cannot let them put anything on their body, which is frustrating. They claim they apply a lot and frequently, but to me, it looks like a tiny speck, so every time I look at their skin, it is a mess—bumpy, red, and inflamed. What are some good products or methods to soothe this kind of psoriasis-prone skin texture?
