Are hair loss treatment shops effective?

I can really feel my hair getting thinner and thinner. I try to take care of it at home, even using anti-hair loss shampoo, but the amount of hair falling out keeps increasing. I saw that there are specialized hair loss treatment shops, and I'm curious if they are actually effective. It would be sad if it didn't work since it's expensive... If anyone has actually visited, I'd love to hear your genuine reviews :)
