Do you all keep your skincare products in the refrigerator?

I put it in the refrigerator and applied it to my face when it was really hot, and it felt like it just sat on the surface.
It doesn't seem to be absorbing well... could it be because of the big temperature difference between my face and the refrigerator?
I've seen posts saying that if you put cosmetics in the refrigerator carelessly, they might spoil because they are sensitive to temperature.
Are skincare products like that too?
