Care for Wavy Flyaway Hair

Hello. I have wavy hair, and the only thing that bothers me is that the flyaway hairs near my scalp tend to stick out in a puff after I dry my hair. I use an oil essence, so I apply a little bit after drying to press them down, but the flyaways come back up after a while. I'm really self-conscious about the flyaways because they make me look less tidy and give off an unorganized impression. Do you happen to have any other good tips?
