Scabs under the scalp?

Was it since the beginning of this year?

I had acne on my scalp, and after picking at it with my fingernails, a scab formed.

I used to even pick at that scab with my fingernails.

Before I knew it, the scab got huge and won't go away.

I'm worried if it's not healing because I keep picking at it with my hands, or if the wound has gotten infected.

Is anyone else experiencing the same symptoms?
