Is feminine hygiene product essential?

I tried using it once before. They talked about the pH or something, but I stopped using it because I got itchy afterward.

I haven't used it since then, and I just take inner beauty supplements like vaginal probiotics.

Do almost everyone use it? I felt a bit awkward asking my acquaintances about this.

Is it not allowed if I don't use it?
