How should I manage blackheads?

I have a lot of blackheads around my nose. I heard Vaseline is good, so I tried using it to manage them, but it was actually quite a hassle. I’ve tried everything from blackhead extractors to peel-off products, and I’ve even tried all the famous blackhead-dissolving oils. They do work, but there are side effects, so it feels like the more I try to manage them, the more worried I get. How do you all manage your blackheads?
