Is there a difference in ingredients between Daiso cosmetics and brand-name cosmetics?

Daiso carries a variety of cosmetics, and lately I've noticed a lot of brand-name products like The Saem, VT, and Medi Peel. However, even though they are known to be the same products, there is a huge price difference—almost 5 to 10 times. Is it because the ingredients in the products sold on the brand's website are different from those in Daiso, or is it because the Daiso version contains slightly lower concentrations of those ingredients? I'm curious!
