Since I have acne-prone skin, my children are also getting breakouts now that they are entering puberty, starting from their foreheads and spreading to their cheeks and chins. No matter how much I tell them not to touch them, they keep picking at them, popping them, and drawing blood. I am worried about what measures should be taken after they pop to minimize scarring. Since they are girls, I am concerned about scarring. I am wondering if I should use a patch that can be applied immediately, or if I should just leave them as they are and avoid touching them.
