What's wrong with hardly wearing makeup?

I rarely wear makeup,
My boyfriend told me to wear makeup, so...
So if I try to decorate it properly again...
It seems kind of really strange, I guess...

Maybe it's because I have distinct facial features,
Or maybe there is another reason, if I only wear makeup
My face turned into something really awkward...
Is it okay if I barely do it? Should I just put on a little bit when I meet my boyfriend?
