Lately, whenever my face looks swollen, I've been thinking about trying gua sha or massage tools.
I've also heard that your face looks a little lighter after a massage.
However, they say that temporarily reducing swelling and actually changing the facial contours are different issues.
In particular, it is said that pressing hard on the skin or rubbing it repeatedly in an attempt to define the jawline can actually cause irritation.
They say it is important to reduce friction and move smoothly when using it.
I'm interested because I'm concerned about the area under my chin, and I'm curious to know how much can be managed with massage.
For those of you who have used Gua Sha, have you experienced any changes other than swelling management?
