I used to apply just one product at a time—either foundation or BB cream—but one day I happened to see a video recommending mixing the two, and I found it to be great when I tried it. For instance, if you have a foundation that is too matte or sets too quickly, you can mix it with a moisturizing BB cream; if you have a foundation with low coverage, you can mix it with a cream concealer. It is helpful to use them in ways that complement each other's strengths and weaknesses.
