I have a question about using primer.

Hello. I used to use primer a few years ago, but I stopped using it lately because it became a hassle. However, I've heard from friends that using primer makes a difference in how base makeup adheres to the skin. If anyone is currently using primer, I'm curious to know if it really works and what product you are using.
