[Keyword] Managing oral care with oral irrigators & interdental brushes
In addition to brushing my teeth three times a day for oral care,
Morning and evening Oral irrigators and interdental brushes I am writing...
Both my mom and dad have bad teeth or gums, so our family generally has poor dental health.
It seems like I'm the only one who has made it into my 30s without ever having a cavity since childhood...
But when I was exactly in my mid-30s, I got a cavity and had to get it filled for the first time, and that was also the first time I had ever received a scaling.
Even though it was my first time getting a scaling at the dentist, I was even complimented on how clean my teeth were...
While getting scaling, since tartar is removed from between the teeth, gaps have formed between them.
My teeth started getting worse because food gets stuck and I sometimes forget to brush them because I'm busy at work.
Now that I'm over 40, black tartar is starting to build up. I don't even smoke, so I asked why this is happening...
Well, I guess there are just people who get black tartar easily...
Anyway, since then, I have had no choice but to visit the dentist at least once a year, and since the relief is only temporary, I started finding my own ways to manage my oral health and began taking care of it...
I heard that using an oral irrigator would be good during a time when my gums were very receded and painful, so I tried using it...
Even though this seems to use less water than expected, I like it because when I use it after brushing, it effectively removes invisible debris between my teeth and feels like it massages my gums.
But maybe because I've been using it for a long time, the water pressure has weakened... so I think I'll have to repurchase from a different brand this time, getting one with a slightly larger capacity.
And as for interdental brushes, well, they need no explanation. I find using dental floss inconvenient, so I find interdental brushes convenient to carry around. Since you just need to remove and replace the tip, you can use them conveniently for a long time.
I'll take a good look at what others use for their oral care, and I plan to take even better care of my oral health in the future.
But I haven't tried mouthwash because I tend to get mouth sores easily.
When you have mouth sores, doesn't it sting or burn even if you gargle?
It looks like it could easily slide down your throat if you're not careful. Is it okay to eat it? Haha.
