Nail polish that is one year old

I can't do my nails on my hands and feet because it feels too stuffy.

It feels stuffy when I apply it... but I still try it on my toenails occasionally in the summer for a change of pace. Should I throw away the nail polish I bought from Olive Young last year?

How much do you usually use? I think I applied it twice and it hasn't hardened yet, so it feels like a waste to just throw it away.
