Gel nails

I got gel nails for the first time recently.

It's been a little over a week since I received it, so I'm kind of excited?

One or two of them sometimes come off when I wash my hair...

Is it normal for it to get damaged this quickly?

Also, if my nails peel off on their own like this without getting them removed at a salon, will they be severely damaged?

My nails are naturally on the thin side.
