Question about using cream, essence, and ampoule simultaneously

I am writing this because I have a question or concern. I want an accurate answer, but I would still be grateful if you could listen to my worries.

Since I am getting older, my skin has become less oily, so for the past few months, I have been using cream, essence, and ampoule all together. There is also a wide variety of products available.

I heard that you should use only one essence, ampoule, and serum instead of together, so I'm wondering if that's true. I use them all at once, and I'm worried that doing so might actually have a counterproductive effect. Is anyone else using them like me?

Sometimes I skip the cream.
