Is it better to start using anti-aging products as early as possible?

People around me say that the sooner you start anti-aging care, the better.
I don't have deep wrinkles yet, but I'm wondering if I should start taking preventative measures.
Functional products generally tend to have heavy formulations, so they can be burdensome.
I also find myself wondering if using it at this stage is an excessive choice.
It is said that skin aging progresses gradually, but it is difficult to feel it.
I am worried that I might be adding products out of impatience.
I would like to know what the criteria are for prevention and overmanagement.
I can't figure out what kind of care my skin needs right now.
