The summer beauty item I'm going to introduce is the Missha Ultra Powerproof Mascara.

I bought this during the Missha sale and snagged a great deal with a buy-one-get-one-free offer. My satisfaction level is inversely proportional to the price, so I wanted to introduce this to you~

 

I'm unemployed, so I don't wear much makeup. Since I don't use much makeup, I often end up throwing away items that have expired and I couldn't use them all. That's why I usually only have one of each color cosmetic product, and I mostly use affordable brands because I prioritize value for money.

I was looking at mascaras and saw that Missha was having a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. I bought it just for that, but it was better than I expected.

There are two types, Curl-Up Volume and Curl-Up Long Lash, and I chose Curl-Up Volume.

The reason is... my eyelashes are short and sparse (I'm so envious of people with thick, long eyelashes~). So, to make them look even a little bit fuller, I chose Curl Up Volume.

[Curl-Up Volume is said to create non-sagging C-curl curling and full, gap-free lashes. The straight bullet brush cares for even hidden lashes, making them denser and fuller the more you apply it.]

Now, the most important part: my personal experience!!!

 

Since my hair is short and not very thick, I don't have high expectations for cosmetics. Even when I use famous or expensive brands, I don't see much of a difference haha. Still, there must be a reason why expensive things are expensive, right? lol. Maybe that's just my own way of rationalizing why I use budget items. Anyway, the Missha Ultra Powerproof Mascara I bought is affordable, comes in two types so you can choose, and the curl comes out better than I expected~

And today, to write an accurate review, I applied this mascara and went out for a workout. Even though I sweated a bit, it didn't smudge and didn't leave me looking like a panda. There is no flaking over time, and the staying power is great. Also, waterproof products are usually hard to remove, right? You have to use a dedicated remover, but even though this product is advertised as powerful waterproof, it comes off easily with a regular remover (I am currently using Soonjung Etude remover).
