Please recommend a mascara.

I'm the worst at eye makeup, so I only put effort into my eyebrows and mascara.

I don't like eyelash extensions, but since my eyelashes are on the shorter side, I'm getting long lashes.

But there was a lot of flying around and things were falling down.

What are some good mascaras that give a clean finish and add a little volume?
