I don't wear heavy eye makeup, but I do try to curl my lashes with an eyelash curler. I heard that the Shiseido product is designed with a curve that fits Asian eyes. Perhaps that is why it grips my entire lash line well when curling, and the grip is comfortable without being stiff, making it easy to control the pressure. Using an eyelash curler definitely makes my lashes look fuller and enhances my eye shape, so I find myself wanting to keep using it. Another great feature is that you can purchase replacement rubber tips separately, allowing for semi-permanent use.
