This is a beauty accessory, an eyelash curler.

Since the boycott began, I have been trying to refrain from consuming Japanese products as much as possible. However, this is a Shiseido eyelash curler that I bought without much thought during a trip to Japan about 8 or 9 years ago—before the boycott started—and I have surprisingly been using it for a long time. I replace the rubber part with a refill every few months. Otherwise, my eyelashes get pinched and pulled out quite a bit. I found out that they sell just the rubber part separately, so I replace it whenever the rubber cracks and I notice my eyelashes starting to fall out. I am trying to buy one product and use it for a long time for the sake of the environment, and I think I will use this curler for a while as well, unless I lose it or it breaks. However, since it is a Japanese product... as a citizen of South Korea, I won't go so far as to actively recommend it!
