The texture is sticky and chewy like mochi, so it spreads evenly. If you pat it on, it feels like it adheres even more thoroughly. When it gets dirty, I found that it washes off easily by gently rubbing it in lukewarm water with a neutral detergent. Since it is large, it applies well with just a few taps. It is great for long-term use.
