This is the Daiso "poop puff" that is famous for being great when applied damp. However, I feel that this type of puff absorbs base makeup quite well, so I apply a little extra base first and then pat it in to help with absorption. I found it works better with liquid or soft bases, and I like that I can control my skin finish by deciding whether to dampen it or not!
