Brush recommendations

This is a highlighter brush I received when I bought a Glint highlighter, but the bristles are thin and fluffy, so the color payoff is weak.

I tend to add more color by hand.

Powder brushes are great because they apply powder more evenly than powder puffs. FilliMilli brushes have soft bristles, but you need to use them carefully as they can cause the base to rub off.
