I had been using eyebrow scissors with a comb for quite a long time, but whether it was because I'm not good with my hands or because I have thick hairs, I would occasionally cut off large clumps, so I was feeling discouraged. However, this one is convenient because I can just comb and trim the long parts.

When applying mascara, brushing it once right after application keeps it neat. I have a few parts where my lashes are twisted in an X shape, so they always tend to clump. As for any mess, just wipe it all off with a used toner pad or wet wipe.

I bought the long handle because the short handle is a hassle to twist open and close and I felt like I would break it quickly. The grip is good and I am satisfied.
