MAC Powder Kiss

I was worried it might be too matte, but it isn't really that matte. Although the photo came out this way, in reality, it is an orange-red with a bit of white undertone. The saturation isn't as intense as I expected, and I would describe the brightness as a color with a mix of white and light. It is a color that isn't overwhelming at all to wear on its own, and it is also really good for creating a gradient effect by applying it as an accent over a base lip, so I think it is quite versatile. If you like a soft, velvety matte texture, the Powder Kiss line is great. The advantage is that it isn't overly intense; the powdery finish gives a slightly transparent feel that makes the lips look prettier, and I think you will like it even more if you have a light skin tone. It adheres very thinly, so the staying power is also quite good.
