This mission required choosing one of two options: comparing high-end department store products versus affordable drugstore items, or comparing similar products from your personal collection; I chose the "corner within a corner" option. MAC Chili was so famous that at one point, there were so many people looking for a dupe! But guess what? I actually found a product that is similar from the texture to the color payoff!!!

 

It is the color called Rainbow Mansion's Objet Liquid Tint_Affection.

 

2. Rainbow Mansion_Objet Liquid Tint 004 Affection

Price: 18,000 / Volume: 6ml

 

 

Both brands share the commonality of having a luxurious image. Actually, while Rainbow Mansion isn't exactly a budget-friendly brand among road shops, I think its distinctive upscale vibe is its biggest appeal. ✨

🔎 I personally applied it, ate a meal, and went about my day to test its longevity, pigmentation, and flaking.

Color When applied lightly, the color is similar to Rainbow Mansion.
When swatched on the back of my hand, Rainbow Mansion had about three drops more cool undertones compared to MAC. When applied to the lips, as a lukewarm-toned cool summer type, MAC looked too unnatural and stood out too much, whereas Rainbow Mansion was just right for a neutral accent lip.

Spreadability MAC has very intense colors, so controlling the amount is essential! If you apply it straight, it can look tacky, so I recommend using a lip brush. In contrast, Rainbow Mansion can be applied easily with the tip.

Overall, MAC had better product quality, but because it was difficult to control the amount and I have personal preferences regarding texture and color, I’d like to lean a bit more toward Rainbow Mansion ☺️🫶🏻 It was hard to choose the better one since both products were good ㅜ Which product do you guys reach for more often❓
