I got a complimentary cookie at the cafe in front of my house.

The boss just gave it to me because the weather was nice today.

The free cookies were good, of course(?), but

I just really liked this kind of situation that felt human.

I greeted them with a smile.

The boss also replied with a simple greeting about everyday life.
