Now that even the youngest has gotten a job and moved out, the big house feels so quiet and unfamiliar.
When it was crowded, my wish was for quiet, but now that it has actually turned out this way, it brings back old memories.
It was so hectic when the family was bustling about, but now that they're gone, I feel a sense of emptiness.
