I started using this after getting a recommendation. Since it has an oil texture, I didn't like the slippery residue on my hands, so I used it sporadically. However, I've been using it consistently lately, and my hair feels so bouncy and shiny—I love it! Also, my hair ends were quite damaged from getting a straightening treatment, but applying a generous amount has made my hair feel much better. The scent is subtle and pleasant, too. The ingredients are good, and it seems to be improving my hair texture. I thought it would only work on permed hair, but it actually makes straight hair even better. However, the slippery residue on my hands is a bit bothersome. I suppose it would be difficult to make a hair essence in a stick form.

There is also a spray essence type available, which is good for spraying all over. This essence is great for applying to the base of the hair.
