Mise en Scène Curling Essence is disappointing.

I got a perm and was planning to buy an Amos product, but the price was too high, so I tried the 'Mise en Scène Curling Essence 2X Volume Curl' instead. I bought it because I remembered using Mise en Scène hair products before and they weren't bad, but I'm a bit disappointed.

It's less sticky, but maybe that's why the curl retention isn't great. It's more like a coating essence than something that gives bouncy elasticity. It's a bit better if I apply it right after drying my hair just a little. Next time, I'll have to check out other reviews before buying.
