It seems that a setting spray is essential for base makeup in the summer.

I sweat so much even if I'm outside for just a short while that causes my makeup to wear off quickly. On top of that, touch-ups make it look even heavier, so I try not to touch my face after applying base makeup as much as possible during the summer, but then my face gets all cakey from the sweat haha..

I use setting spray all year round, but especially in the summer, I find that spraying it once at every step of my makeup routine prevents it from smudging easily when I go out.

Summer is a troublesome season in many ways lol
