I'm curious about what level is good to start with for perfume.

I've always lived without taking care of myself... I'm starting to feel like I haven't been looking after myself enough, so I'm thinking of starting to take light care of myself.

I usually didn't even bother with sunscreen and just tended to apply toner and lotion haphazardly. But as I get older, I can see blemishes appearing and my skin looking a bit dry, so I'm starting to get worried. That's why I'm thinking of starting by getting a perfume that will make a good impression on those around me.

I don't really like scents that are too strong or smell like old man aftershave. I would appreciate recommendations for men's perfumes that are subtle yet clean. Price isn't a major concern, so I would be grateful if you could suggest products that are comfortable to wear daily.

Also, regarding perfumes that give me a headache and are unpleasant to smell... is that because they are cheap? I'm wondering if that's just the scent itself. I don't really know much about perfumes; I feel like you have to pay more to get a good one.
