I have a question about using Gua Sha.
Hello. Lately, I’m someone who dreads looking in the mirror every morning... haha. I have a lot of worries because my facial contours aren't what they used to be when I look in the mirror.
I know that aging is inevitable as I get older, but seeing the skin around my mouth and chin sagging makes me dread looking in the mirror and is actually stressing me out a bit. My pores seem to be getting longer vertically, and because I've lost my elasticity, my makeup doesn't seem to apply well.
My neighborhood friends told me that gua sha is good for reducing swelling and improving skin elasticity, so I'm thinking of trying one, but I'm curious if it really works. I saw online that there are various shapes, like ceramic or wood; which one would be the most suitable for middle-aged people to use?
Also, since my skin is on the thinner side, I feel like I shouldn't rub it too hard. I'm curious what cream or oil people usually apply when doing this at home. I'm worried that I might accidentally cause more wrinkles if I handle it incorrectly, so I'd like to ask for some advice. I'd love to get help from those who have seen results or have any usage tips.
