Will retinol help with dark circles that look like mold?

Due to genetic factors, I have tended to get particularly severe dark circles when I am tired since my student days. I try my best to cover them up with concealer, but there is a limit to how much that works. Eventually, after some time passes, my eyes turn into panda eyes again, so it has become a complex for me these days.

I often hear that I look tired because of my dark circles, and I look dull, so I'm worried about it these days.

My family member also received laser treatment, but it didn't have much effect. It's effective for dark circles.
Are there any cosmetics or concealers? By any chance, would cosmetics containing retinol also help improve the dullness around the eyes?
