Is it okay to just apply cushion foundation in this sweltering heat?

Hello? This is jongdari3913. When I start applying makeup before going out, I apply basic skincare products to my face in the order of toner, serum, emulsion, base, and sunscreen. Then I pat on a cushion product, and finally, to maintain a matte finish, I lightly tap on a compact powder to finish.

Now that it is a sweltering summer, I want to keep my makeup lighter, so I am thinking of skipping the final step of patting on compact powder. If I skip the compact, I will finish with a cushion foundation. I am asking if my makeup will still wear off if I skip the compact like this. Alternatively, I would appreciate it if you could recommend any other products that I can skip. Thank you for reading.
