Since I have oily skin, when I was buying it, I wanted it to be somewhat matte, have good coverage, and not smudge easily. I also wanted it to have UV protection.

It is definitely matte, and it didn't wash off even when I went to the pool. It also has UV protection, so I felt it was more effective than other sunscreens. However, the coverage is a bit lacking, and since it is matte, I had to give up on it applying smoothly and achieving a natural finish. So, I use a puff to pat it on quite a bit, and that helps to tone down the white, cakey look.

I think it's good to use in the summer.
