Since it is an alkaline cleanser, it doesn't lather much. The foam isn't dense or heavy; it is incredibly soft and doesn't irritate the face. I like that it is nearly fragrance-free.
It has good cleansing power, and I am satisfied with it because my face doesn't feel tight after washing.
