Etude Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam that washes cleanly
I tried the Etude Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam when it was first released, and it was so refreshing and clean that I have been buying and using it frequently ever since.
I had been using a different foam cleanser for a while, but I recently repurchased the large 300g size. It seems like it might have been renewed in the meantime, as the packaging and texture have changed. Previously, it had a slight, refreshing scent like lemon, but now it just smells like an ordinary, subtle cosmetic fragrance.
It lathers up quite richly, and since it has good cleansing power for a foam cleanser, I like that the foam doesn't disappear quickly even when rubbed directly onto an oily or makeup-covered face. It is convenient because it removes light makeup and sunscreen with just this one product. Of course, however, you still need to use cleansing water as a first step for things like mineral sunscreens.
In the past, I could feel the baking powder granules more, and it washed so thoroughly that my skin felt tight. Now, however, I can barely feel the granules, and while the cleansing power feels subtle, it seems to have weakened slightly compared to before. It is a bit disappointing that my skin feels less tight and slightly softer after washing, since I really like a cleanse that thoroughly removes oil and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean.
It’s just slightly less squeaky clean than before, but compared to other products, it still washes off refreshingly well, so I’ve been using it a lot lately. I recommend Etude Baking Powder Foam Cleanser to anyone looking for a clean and refreshing foam cleanser for the summer :)
