I used to use cleansing water, but even if I soaked a cotton pad thoroughly, the friction from wiping every day caused irritation. I chose this product to remove my base makeup without using cotton pads, and it is decent and just right, so I’ve gone through several bottles of it. Since heavy makeup doesn't suit me and I usually wear light makeup, I find it great to lightly roll this on, rinse with water, and then wash with a foam cleanser; it cleanses thoroughly.
