About Tone Skin Layer Fit Blusher Review

The About Tone Skin Layer Fit Blusher is called a blusher, but it feels more like a combination of a blusher and a concealer. Since I have fair skin, I wanted to use it more as a concealer than a blusher, so I chose a light shade. I selected Petal Pink, which is a bright color that looks like strawberry milk mixed with white paint. It is a bit too bright to use solely as a blusher. Also, when applied, it doesn't feel like a transparent finish where the base wears off like other cream blushes; instead, it feels more like a thick, covering concealer. My under-eye area tends to be a bit dark, so I use it because it is great for covering dark circles. Since it has a slightly pink tint, applying it under the eyes not only covers dark circles but also brightens up the face. Therefore, it is an excellent product for brightening the under-eye area.

Since this product applies thickly for high coverage, you need to be careful with the amount you use. If you obsess over coverage and apply too much, it can cake and cause your makeup to break down over time. Therefore, applying a small amount and spreading it evenly improves makeup adherence and extends the longevity of your coverage. I personally dab a small amount under my eyes and then blend it out by gently patting with a sponge, and I think this is the best method.

If you have fair skin, I think it would be great to use as a blush, concealer, and highlighter all in one. Although the quantity looks small, you only use a tiny amount when actually using it, so I think it will last a long time. The color might look a bit off on those with darker skin, so I recommend it for those with shade 21 or darker skin. The texture applies cleanly, so as long as you purchase the color that matches your skin tone, it is a blush you can use well.
