Chickpea and Black Lentil Salad

I only intended to put chickpeas in the rice.

I've never thought about trying a salad.

Intrigued by the phrase "slow aging"

I bought 2kg of chickpeas and soaked 1kg the day before.

I boiled it thoroughly in a huge pot yesterday morning.

 

 

🥦 Prepare ingredients
✔ Chickpeas - Soak for at least 8 hours (Prepare by soaking in water the night before going to bed)
✔ Vegetables - Black tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, black lentils
✔ Dressing - Olive oil, lemon juice, pepper,


How to make 🐥


🧅 Boil the soaked chickpeas thoroughly in boiling water for 40 minutes.

It's so plump and pretty, isn't it?

You have to peel the outer skin off the boiled one to avoid the rough texture.

Slurping it up while peeling the skin lol. I ate so much.

It reminded me of when my mom used to boil soybeans for me when I was little.

🧅 Cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces and get them ready!

Since the beans are small, I think it would be good to cut the vegetables to match the size of the beans.

🧅 Just add dressing to boiled chickpeas and vegetables, mix well, and you're done!

I like pepper a little, so I added a bit more.

I think you can adjust the seasoning of the lemon by tasting it as you go.
