Reasons why pores widen

The root cause of enlarged pores is sebum. The hot summer weather causes skin temperature to rise and elasticity to decrease, making it a season when sebum secretion increases and pores are prone to enlarging. Pores, which serve as the passageways for sebum, become larger as the amount of sebum increases because they work harder to expel it. If sebum production is high but proper care, such as sebum removal, is insufficient, enlarged pores are inevitable.
