Learn about the types of eyelash perms

Generally, eyelash perms consist of three types of curls: C-curl, J-curl, and L-curl.

1. C-curl

C-curl perm creates eyelashes with natural and taut curves.

This perm style creates a curved C-shape for the eyelashes. It produces doll-like lashes that look as if they have been curled with an eyelash curler, and creates a soft curve that follows the shape of the eye, making it even more attractive.

 

2. J-curl

J-curl perm gives the eyelashes a soft J-shaped curve.

It refers to a curl with slightly upturned tips, resembling the shape of a J. This style features the most natural curl, closely resembling human eyelashes.

 

3. L-curl

The eyelashes in an L-curl perm are curled tightly into an L shape, and it is a curl shape preferred by those who usually curl their eyelashes strongly with an eyelash curler.

 

4. JC curl

It refers to a curl that combines J-curl and C-curl, representing a curl in between J-curl and C-curl. It is an eyelash perm featuring natural J-curl and curves, and is a popular treatment sought after by those who prefer an eyelash perm that is curlier than a J-curl but more natural than a C-curl.

 

The duration of an eyelash perm is usually up to one and a half months, and on average, it lasts for about three weeks.
